Colette Jung won eight varsity letters, four in basketball, two in track, one in volleyball and one in tennis. As a sophomore, she started for the Cardunals in the Class AA Girls Basketball IHSA State Tournament and earned second-team All-Tournament honors. She was also a two-time State Qualifier in Track and Field.

Colette served eight years in the law enforcement field as a police officer. She has also worked for DCFS as an investigator and for over 25 years for the Association for Individual Development in Elgin as a specialist, supervisor and coordinator in the Day Services program.
