Jeff Halsema graduated from Dundee-Crown in 1999. He was a four-year starter and letter winner in Boys Soccer and at graduation was the Chargers career scoring leader. Jeff was a three-time Fox Valley All-Conference, three-time All-Sectional and a three-time Daily Herald All-Area honoree. He was team captain in both his Junior and Senior seasons and was named Dundee-Crown Senior Athlete of the year (Fall).

Jeff attended Dominican University where he was a four-year starter (1999-2002). He was a member of the Dominican Hall of Fame 1999 team that went to the NAIA National Tournament. In both 2001 and 2002 Jeff was team captain and an All-Conference selection. He topped off his college career in 2002 with his selection as the Conference Player of the Year.

At the time of his induction, he had served Dominican University for over twenty (20) years as both an assistant and head coach.
