1930: Heavyweight Football - Little Seven Conference Co-Champions

Eugene de Lacey and Howard Spain, who were both inducted into the Hall’s inaugural 2004 class coached the team to a 5—0—2 record. The Cardunals were co-champions of the Little Seven Conference with Naperville and set a record that more than likely will never be broken, outscoring their opponents 141-0.

The November 10, 1930 Elgin Courier-News listed eleven players as first team, second team or honorable mention as all conference. There were only 19 players on the team. Two players from this 1930 team, Frank Anniballi and Howard Mitchell, are 2007 and 2009 Hall inductees.
